The road through the gorge is gentle, so many people set off in trainers with a bottle of water. Most of the time, that is enough. There are still two things we tell everyone.

An extra layer

Between the limestone walls it is five or six degrees colder than in the village, even in August. The sun only reaches the bottom around noon.

Water from the house

The springs along the way are cold and lovely, but we do not recommend them after rain. Fill the thermos with us.

If you leave after ten, pack some patience as well: the road fills up.

The rest is optional. Binoculars, however, are not: the chamois usually stay high up, on the right.
